Chait & Company is pleased to announce that Fred Ramos has successfully completed the architectural examination and licensing process, and he is now a licensed Architect in the State of California.  Congratulations Fred! 

 

JUNE 2015

 

The Los Angeles Business Council (LABC) announced its winners for their 45th annual architectural awards program held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on June 18, 2015.

 

This year's top honors in the renovated buildings category went to the Utah Avenue Campus project in El Segundo, CA.  The project was developed by NSB Associates, Inc., Lawrence N. Field, Partner; designed by Sidley Jones, Inc., Mike Jones, Principal; and constructed by Chait & Company, Inc., Michael Chait, Principal.

 

DECEMBER 2014

 

The Utah Avenue Campus project receives final sign-offs from the City of El Segundo, CA. This creative office project is a re-development and renovation of two single-story office and research buildings totaling almost 200,000 SF and originally occupied by the Xerox Corporation. Sidley Jones, Inc. Architects dramatically transformed the former buildings--in form, in color and in light—to become inviting and inspiring workspaces. Chait & Company acted as General Contractor for the project.

 

OCTOBER 2014

 

The new Allied Beverage beer distribution facility receives a Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Ventura. The 135,000 SF facility serves Allied’s Ventura and Santa Barbara County customers. Chait & Company acted in the joint roles of Architect and General Contractor for the project.

 

AUGUST 2011

 

The DMV LA METRO BCS/DSO 24,000 SF offices at the Covina Technology Center in Covina, CA receives a LEED Commercial Interiors CERTIFIED designation. Chait & Company acted in the joint roles of Architect and General Contractor for the project.

 

MAY 2009

 

Chait & Company is pleased to announce that Principal Michael Chait is the latest LEED Accredited Professional within Chait & Company. This continues the company commitment to sustainability and green building concepts in the building design and construction community.

 

MARCH 2008

 

The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, Southern Nevada chapter, the industry's premiere trade group, held its 10th annual Spotlight Awards on Saturday, March 24th in the Red Rock Resort ballroom. Gov. Jim Gibbons presided over the black-tie affair, which saw over 800 attendees.

 

This year's top honors went to Familian of Nevada's Southeast Loft District designed by Chait & Company, which took home "Best Building" honors in the industrial project category.
